In 2015 Brick and Ivy set out to make wooden planter boxes in a small wood shop in upstate NY. We were building furniture at the time so this was a small and natural detour. We started experimenting with materials and properties and quickly worked out the kinks. The design is sure to please. The wood starts out as raw lumber and is milled into box pieces. We then assemble the box using both glue and nails for longevity. Once the box is together it is hand-sanded and finished with a durable satin lacquer finish. It really is a piece of art. But it doesn’t stop there. We fill the box with the right soil mix and plant your choice of succulents, cactus, or low-maintenance houseplants. It’s carefully packed and shipped to your door. Since our launch, people have been amazed by the craftsmanship and quality of these pieces. We know you’ll be impressed too.
